Admission and Withdrawal

  • A pupil who joins fresh from home or from a private school has to produce an Official Birth Certificate (Municipal of Baptismal) in support of date of birth entered in admission form.
  • A pupil who has attended any recognized school cannot be admitted without a Leaving Certificate from the school he/she has attended. If a pupil comes from a school outside the State Of Maharashtra the leaving certificate must be countersigned by the Education Officer of state from which he/she comes.  
  • No child less than 5… years not older than 7 years is admitted to the first standard. A corresponding scale of age is fixed for succeeding standards.
  • A calendar months’ notice is to be given before the withdrawal of pupil, else that month’s fee will be charged. Such notice should be given in writing by the person responsible for the pupil himself / herself. Those who leave in April must pay fees for May.
  • No Leaving Certificate is given until all sum due to the school have been paid in full. The form of application for leaving Certificate is inserted in This Hand- Book.
  • No fee will be charged for a Leaving Certificate if asked for, with in one year form the date of leaving school. After this period, A fee of Re. 1/- will be charged for every subsequent year. A fee of Rs. 5/- will be charged for a duplicate copy of Leaving Certificate or birth date or an extract from the general Register.
  • In case of a request for a duplicate of the Leaving Certificate, the parent or guardian will be asked to state in writing, what happened to the original certificate and why a duplicate required.

Railway Concessions

  • Railway Concessions forms are available from the school office. Parents are requested to slate in writing the page of child Particulars of journey. They are issued only for vacations and for going to the native place.
  • According to the instructions received from the railway Board the school is expected to fill in particulars in the forms. Hence these may be handed to the parents only 3 days after the application has been made. Pupils proceeding to their home town only, are issued concession forms.
  • Parents are requested to foresee their journey and to apply for their concession Forms well in advance. Last minute applications will not be accepted.
  • Railway concession form will be issued only to those children travelling after they are permitted to do so. A pupil who has not paid all the fees due may not be entitled to have this certificate issued.

Leave And Absence
(Pupils should attend school regularly.)

  • All are expected to attend school on the re-opening day after each vacation. Absence without previous permission renders a pupil to be struck off the roll. Such pupils will not as a rule be re-admitted. If re-admitted they will have to pay the entrance fee once again.
  • When absent, the pupil on returning to school must have the reason of absence entered and signed by the parents/ guardian in the “Absence and Leave Record” in this Hand-Book.
  • Absence without permission is liable to punishment either of fine or any other form at the Principal’s discretion.
  • Leave of absence is granted on previous written application from parent or guardian in Hand-Book and Only for |serious reason. Not more than a day’s leave will be granted to attend a wedding, feast etc. in family
